Dr. Mark Bridges graduated summa cum laude from Morehouse College and received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. He received his fellowship training in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery at Orthopaedic Research of Virginia.
He is board certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and he is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Bridges specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopic ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, and shoulder stabilization. He has extensive experience in total joint replacement of the shoulder, hip, and knee, as well as fracture care.
In addition to local high school and collegiate athletes, he has been privileged to help continue the careers of football players in the NFL and CFL.
